October is National Coop Month, and in the name of Co-op solidarity, Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier, VT is featuring Deep Root as their Vendor of the Month.
Hunger Mountain and Deep Root have a long history of working together – not only does Deep Root supply Hunger Mtn. directly through our relationships with local distributors, but many of our member farms are also direct suppliers to Hunger Mountain. These relationships are a vital link for Deep Root farmers to connect to and serve the local community.
Hunger Mountain has been serving the residents of Montpelier since the late 1960’s. Beginning as a buyers club and eventually setting up a storefront they are now one of the cornerstones of the Montpelier and surrounding communities.
